The skeleton hound is a curious undead canine frequently found from mid level to the deepest levels of the dungeon. As with most canines, it can be interacted with via the pet menu and be fed any food item to tame it. It will eventually get hungry, unlike other undead minions.
Additionally, unlike most undead creatures, the hound does regenerate health. It cannot however, as with other undead creatures, be revived once slain. Once it's dead, it stays dead.
