The gelatinous cube is a creature first encountered in the mid levels of the dungeon. It can obstruct other enemies and may cause paralysis when it touches. The cube can climb ladders, however is too large to pass through the small opening between dungeon levels. Its attack can also shatter potions in melee range.

- Depths of 700-870 meters.

- Chance to drop a blob of gelatinous cube goo. Up to 3 goos if harvested with sickle (meat, not safe to eat).
Traits[]
Gelatinous cubes have been observed to have the following abilities or behaviours:
- Alignment: Neutral;
- Deaf: Immune to the effects of musical instruments;
- Movement: Can climb ladders, cannot climb between levels;
- Resistance: Sleep;
- Resistance: Magical musical instruments;
- Weakness: Sickle.
Instant Kill[]
The following methods will instantly kill a gelatinous cube:
- Striking with or throwing a sickle.
Tips[]
- Despite ironically being deaf, all magical musical instruments such as the the harp of lullabies and lute of charming will prompt the cube to divide itself into more cubes.
