The suit of crystal plate armour (unidentified as a crystal armour suit) offers very good protection although very heavy. It weighs about 10% percent less than a suit of plate armour yet provides the same protection. Unlike other heavy armour, its crystal properties does not hinder spellcasting.

Tips[]
- This crystal armour does not inhibit spellcasting and is a good alternative for spellcasters with decent strength;
- The enchantment of this armour can be increased by reading a blessed scroll of enchant armour;
- As crystal does not rust, this suit of crystal plate armour cannot be rustproofed by the blacksmith;
- Crystal armour can be sold to the blacksmith and the shopkeeper;
- Crystal armour is hewn from a single piece and cannot be adjusted in size by a blacksmith. However you can use the polymorph trick to circumvent this.
