Bacchus is a unique creature and the boss in Fort Ludios.
When killed, he drops the a huge sized green headband, too big even for vandals and barbarians to wear. He also drops the only legendary staff, Thyrsus.
The god resides the throne room located in the furthest corner of the fort layout. This room is protected by a force field that will deal significant to the player passing through it (does not deal damage to pets).

- Bottles of wine (on the ground).
Bacchus is always sleeping until attacked.

- Alignment: Neutral;
- Diet: Herbivore;
- Resistance: Change;
- Resistance: Confusion;
- Movement: Normal, can control teleportation. Cannot leave throne room.
Tips[]
- The player can walk in, drop some offensive magic gems, walkout (at the price of some health per entry/exit), and wait for the gems to eventually kill Bacchus;
- Don't forget to click on the throne to conquer Fort Ludios. The Romans will now become friendly, similar to the Gnome Mines.
Trivia[]
- In the list of kills at the end of the game, the defeated Bacchus is simply identified as "one Roman god."
